METHOD OF PROVING A TESTER (MAX 500V ACDC)
Insert one PROBE of the tester into the correct RIGHT socket and the other PROBE into LEFT socket pressing down gently to provide the PROVING VOLTAGE. The TEST LAMP BULB (or all NEONs/LEDs on other types of testers) should GLOW.
When testing NEON SCREWDRIVERS insert the BLADE into the LEFT socket with a finger on the metal leakage CAP OF the screwdriver HANDLE. Do not touch the blade during the test. If the tester does not GLOW it must be disregarded and another obtained and similarily PROVED.
ALSO if TESTERS are persistently not GLOWING then the BATTERYS may be low and require
changing OR the PROVING UNIT itself may be FAULTY. Then CHANGE the UNIT
